What does having rabbits look like? Take a peek! Angie adopted Moxie and Niles from the Red Door Animal Shelter in Chicago before her move to Los Angeles. Moxie (grey lop) isn't a fan of being picked up (like most rabbits) but does love to be petted when she's in the mood. She makes her feelings known by thumping when she's upset or giving kisses when she's especially happy. Niles (black/white Dutch) is a very tolerant, alert bun. His hobbies include sprinting around the apartment, having his forehead rubbed and shredding junk mail. He frequently gives nudges to say Hello. Moxie and Niles hang out in a two-level Leith Petworks condo when humans are away; otherwise they roam the one-bedroom apartment. The bottom floor contains a high-sided litterbox filled with newspaper at the base and hay on top. Every morning, Moxie and Niles get a handful of Oxbow Bunny Basics/T, a handful of hay, and a water refill. Every evening they receive another handful of Oxbow Bunny Basics/T plus a salad comprised of 2-3 varieties of vegetables. |
